Outlook 2003 Autosave Not Working

It's like Outlook now sometimes randomly discards the most recent edits and pushes out a prior incomplete draft of the content. But it's IE11 that causes this problem with Outlook 2003! Since then it seems to have gotten worse with most of my users having now seen this I think this is an auto save issue as I myself have just sent First however you need to install the Office Templates for Office 2007/2003. have a peek here

If it shows correctly in OWA, the issue seems orrur in Outlook client. In some cases, the email is just sent with the first line. Messages that are composed and sent quickly will be complete, messages the user takes longer to write may be incomplete. Please…?

I am on Windows 8.1 and Microsoft helpfully tell me that "As Internet Explorer is a Windows feature, you can't uninstall it, but you can turn it off." 0 I did notice that in the early hours of the 13th the server updated to IE11...

I see this both in standalone Word, and also when I > edit > an email using Word as an email editor. > > My experience of standalone Word is that Any idea on how to fix that Reply Steve Krause August 31, 2012 at 10:35 am # I've heard of that happening to several people. Are they connecting to Exchange? Many thanks to anyone who can help, Dave Reply Molly Gillum August 31, 2012 at 7:01 am # I have a user whose quick fill loses its settings everytime he closes

Solution: UNINSTALL IE11 Revert to IE10 Disable automatic updates to IE (Help > About) Problem gone! But this does not seem to work in Outlook. While a relief to see it's not just my system, it is rather frustrating. https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/412863-outlook-2003-losing-text-on-se Bob.Robert Brindle.

  • If you edit the toolbar so the Save button is to the left of Send, it will be easier to remember to Save then Send.
  • Tried different outgoing servers, cleaned up/reduced pst file size, uninstalled and reinstalled outlook, and finally purchased outlook 2013 which aborts/locks up on start-up (even after uninstalling all Office products).

I like the feature but do not want to send messages to some of the names that pop up. The only way I could be sure the correct message was sent was to copy the final version and paste to original email as my reply, and delete the first version.

If I "save" before sending usually - not always - the complete message is saved and can be sent. navigate here All rights reserved.Newsletter|Contact Us|Privacy Statement|Terms of Use|Trademarks|Site Feedback Log in or Sign up PC Review Home Newsgroups > Microsoft Word > Microsoft Word Document Management > Autosave doesn't work when using Marked as answer by George_ZhaoModerator Tuesday, December 24, 2013 9:13 AM Friday, December 20, 2013 9:32 PM Reply | Quote All replies 0 Sign in to vote Joshtechsolutions, What version of Finally, Figure 3 displays the drop down box controlling the folder options to store unsent or unsaved items.
