it just doesn't make sense why it won't work right now. the sensor in the head is the one that reads motor temp, and switches on the hot light. That pouch isn't water proof and gets filled with water and corrodes.DO NOT BUY THE REPLACEMENT FROM POLARIS!!!!!!!!!! Replaced temperature sensor both old and new the red light would come on.
