If that occurs consistantly, you end up with half as many frames as your monitor can allow, ending up with 30 FPS, even if it could handle 40-50 fps without v-sync
At that one time, my NCP allowed me to use a "variable refresh rate" option in its v-sync settings, but no other graphics driver gives me that choice. i had this bug using the latest beta driver where in almost all my in game resolutions that were set to 1920x1080x60hz were switched to 1920x1080x50hz and a lot of stuttering Why do most microwaves open from the right to the left? Or how I can start diagnosing it?I have tried reinstalling windows, and tried every archived nvidia driver release (on a clean system started with the oldest and moved forward one at Rep for you and now I need to track down the original post you quoted. Also, it's very important to cap your FPS at one of the magic numbers: 43, 76, 125, or 333. (whichever one you can get a steady FPS with). V-sync on still seems to make the game quite stuttery.Is this a known issue?
