You will need to log out from the current account instead of Fast User Switching. This is really odd because it works pefectly on my PC. Hope this helps. :headphone Theanks for the response D3v1L80Y. I can not find any place that indicates the mic is muted. The headset has two 3.5mm jacks (one for headset, the other for the mic).

The button above the mic settings that says "masterstream (I use the Dutch version of osx) is greyed out.
