Once I removed it and restarted Outlook, my emails were flowing without any hesitation. I checked the box to connect every 10 minutes, closed Outlook, made sure the process stopped in Task Manager, started Outlook again and VOILA! Manual receiving emails doesn't work. If not, remove that add-in to avoid any issues in the future.
