You "solved" my problem of getting Outlook 2106 to NOT send/receive on start up. These appear on emails being sent to a support mail address into Excel. On the new profile I used only one email account and I had to an F9 to get mail regardless of the time set. And if it absolutely needed to exist, why would it be on by default?!

I had put 2 e-mail accounts into the default send/receive group that Outlook sets up for you. A link to the Send and Receive dialog is on the Mail Setup tab too. Our IT support company say that for Exchange server email boxes you shouldn't use a timed schedule as they are always connected.
