With many users demand a correction of this problem with both Microsoft will release an update. I would apply another setting, it would work fine for a day, then nothing. and I was wondering why the monitor wasn't turning off. works.

  5. As it turns out, it was Adobe Type Manager (possibly conflicting with the keyboard driver) since standby now works after uninstalling ATM and rebooting the computer.

I could reliably see my computer go into standby mode, then a minute later hibernate. On boot up, hit the Pause button.
