Power Settings Xp Not Working


Assuming that there is a software not allowing it to be activated, how can I check it out. Older computer, just installed Win XP SP3, renewed the driver software from NVIDIA, installed the hotfix. It's hard to tell without checking all your settings. This is definitely a Windows XP 64 issue since it didn't happen until I installed the updates.  I did go back and reinstall a fresh copy of XP and verify that

All I had was the Home/Office Desk scheme and had the same warning.."indicates two rev... It is free. I'm upgrading my kitchen appliances. Windows Xp Standby Not Working

I have seen it momentarily black out but then come right back on as though somehow the power down action is being construed as activity and powering it back up. While I know that the RAM drive precludes hibernate, I am working now on at least going into standby to keep down power consumption. Is hour of day a categorical variable? It removed other stuff which Glary did not, but the same story.
