Assuming that there is a software not allowing it to be activated, how can I check it out. Older computer, just installed Win XP SP3, renewed the driver software from NVIDIA, installed the hotfix. It's hard to tell without checking all your settings. This is definitely a Windows XP 64 issue since it didn't happen until I installed the updates. I have seen it momentarily black out but then come right back on as though somehow the power down action is being construed as activity and powering it back up. While I know that the RAM drive precludes hibernate, I am working now on at least going into standby to keep down power consumption. Is hour of day a categorical variable? It removed other stuff which Glary did not, but the same story.
